Caroline Lane joined CO-OP Financial Services in July of 2006 as Vice President of Corporate Development, a position created due to the organization’s rapid growth. Caroline has 17 years of marketing and strategic planning experience, and spent more than five years on the executive team of American First Credit Union in La Habra, California. In her role at CO-OP, she will be tasked with identifying new opportunities in the payments space.
During her time at AFCU, Caroline led the credit union’s strategic planning efforts, built a legislative affairs program from the ground up, oversaw a quality assurance department, performed competitive and consumer research to develop new credit union products, and oversaw a marketing department that captured a variety of industry awards. Prior to joining the credit union, Caroline worked in the marketing department of $17 billion Downey Savings in Newport Beach, California.
Caroline is a native Californian, having received her Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from California State University, Fullerton, and her Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University. She lives in Lake Elsinore, California with her husband Todd, who is employed by WesCorp, and his two children.
